The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) presented the Wholesale Infrastructure Services License for all categories to NEOM’s Digital Technology Company “TONOMUS”. The licensing allows the provision of new pioneering technologies and advanced digital infrastructure in NEOM, as well as creating an enabling environment for leading technologies, attracting global technical leaders and supporting supercomputing solutions.

The license was presented to Joseph Bradley, CEO of TONOMUS Company, with the presence of Eng. Abdullah Al-Sawaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of  CST and NEOM Tech, and Eng. Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, which allows the company to provide its services according to its specified license range.

H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi stated that this license will be one of the key factors for NEOM's forthcoming advanced digital technologies, which will depend on the availability, diversity and quality of infrastructure, and will accordingly contribute in the expansion of business scope and the provided services. He added that licensing new infrastructure service providers will contribute in infrastructure development and growth, in order to cater for the increasing demand for data capacity, improve services and achieve the Kingdom’s ambitions for NEOM to become the first hyper-connected cognitive community in the world.

This license is one of CST services to build a diverse and hyper-connected network in NEOM, adopt new technologies that unlock cutting-edge resources. It also creates economic value that promotes its components, and use flexible and sustainable technologies to bridge digital gaps.
