​The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has called on the public to vote for Saudi projects competing to win the ITU-sponsored World Summit on the Information Society prizes (WSIS 2024), seeking to support national projects, and achieve a sustainable and prosperous digital economy for all.


​CST stated that Saudi Arabia participated with 31 national project, from over 20 public and private entities. 

The voting is available until 31 of March 2024, via the ITU website​.

It is worth noting that WSIS is an annual event organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to promote ICT projects contributing at achieving UN Sustainable De​velopment Goals. Saudi Arabia won 13 awards and 35 certificates of excellence.
