change the name of the Service from (IP-VPN) Service to IP VPN

The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, with the powers he holds, and pursuant to what was stated in the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw and the Ordinance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, after reviewing what was stated in Chapter Seven of the Telecommunications Bylaw, and to what was stated in the letter of the Saudi Telecommunications Company No. (1893) dated 06/10/1424H on approval to make some amendments on Tariffs Lists regarding some features related to IP VPN Service as stated in the above mentioned letter of the Company and in accordance with the work benefit requirements.

(Decides the following):​
Article One:
  1. Approval to change the name of the Service from Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN) Service to IP VPN
  2. Canceling the charges for ports with the following speeds: 9.6kb/s, 16.6kb/s, 19.2kb/s, 28.8kb/s
  3. Adding an intermediate port with an accelerated speed equal 1 to ports with a speed between 2Mb/s and 34Mb/s
  4. Adding an intermediate port with an accelerated speed equal 1 to ports with a speed between 34Mb/s and 155Mb/s
Article Two: 
The Saudi Telecommunications Company shall act according to these Tariffs and also working according to what have been agreed to it in regard to amendments mentioned in Article One above as from the date of issuance of this Decision.
Article Three: 
The Saudi Telecommunications Company shall publish the approved amendments pursuant to the Terms of Article Forty Eight of the Telecommunications Bylaw.
Article Four: 
This Decision shall be communicated to Saudi Telecommunications Company and the concerned parties to act accordingly.
