The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) held an online workshop in partnership with (Tadawul) to introduce requirements and advantages for listing in the Saudi stock market.

During the workshop, an introductory overview of the Saudi financial market was presented, to reveal the development of a number of companies previously listed, in addition to benchmarking the local market with the most prominent global markets. The workshop also discussed the benefits afforded to emerging growth companies in the public offering process, including providing the necessary liquidity, facilitating merging and acquisition deals, enabling global expansion, and enhancing transparency and efficiency of listed companies.

The workshop comes as part of CITC’s framework to promote investment in the postal services sector, as it introduces licensed service providers to the procedures and requirements for listing in the Saudi market, in addition to discussing the challenges they might face during this process.
